AG Insurance sought to organize a big yearly employee event. As sponsor of Team Belgium in an Olympic year and in combination with their social engagement, AG Insurance wanted to fulfill a sportive and intellectual challenge with their employees to raise money for a good cause, the SOS children’s Villages.
Its goal was to boost employee engagement and company pride, turning the employees into brand ambassadors and supporters of the Olympic games. In response, Sportizon invented the “We are all Olympians” challenge and set up a pop-up sports room on every site of AG Insurance. The employees earned kilometers by running, cycling and rowing. They could do this at home or at the pop-up sports room and registrated this with their AGi smartwatch.
The more kilometers earned, the bigger the donation for the good cause would be. Eventually over 1.350 employees participated among 8 different sites and a total of 276.767 kilometers were gathered.
